Data Engineer - ATE Test Floor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and validating test data from wafer sort and final test stages across multiple ATE platforms. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity, supporting engineering teams, and driving continuous improvements in test processes and yield performance

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and validate semiconductor test data from wafer and final test stages.

• Interface with various tester platforms including Advantest V93000, Teradyne UltraFlex, and proprietary in-house systems of the customers.

• Collaborate with test and product engineers to ensure accurate and reliable data capture.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot discrepancies or anomalies in test results.

• Support yield analysis, failure diagnostics, and performance reporting through data-driven insights.

• Document procedures and ensure compliance with internal data handling and security protocols.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, or Computer Science.

• Solid understanding of semiconductor testing processes and ATE environments.

• Familiarity with data analysis, handling large datasets, and reporting systems.

• Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred

• Exposure to ATE platforms (V93000, UltraFlex, or equivalent).

• Familiarity with STDF/ATDF data formats, yield monitoring, or test log analysis.

• Experience with visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
